The role of
Junior Buyer consists of assisting the Purchasing Manager with the processing of orders and all ancillary tasks.

The
Junior Buyer will be working within a procurement team, and will be tasked with helping to deliver a professional procurement service to the business


What you'll be doing as our Junior Buyer:

  • Assist with the creation of

Purchase Orders:
add part numbers, amend supplier price lists, raise POs via Sage

  • Track Purchase Orders and goods delivered, Ask PODs
  • Assist accounts with invoices/ Liaise with PM's and engineers for goods receipting
  • Liaise with our compliance officer to onboard new suppliers
  • Ask our key suppliers for quotes and deliver the best costs and lead times

What we're looking for in our Junior Buyer:

  • Well organised
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of energy, enthusiasm and professionalism with a can do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good level of Microsoft Knowledge including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Sage Line 1000

_Experience with Netsuite and some proficiency in German would be an added advantage whilst not mandatory._

  • Accuracy in hire invoices
  • Accuracy of price lists
