Removals driver/porter required for the Removal and Van Hire division of a multi-service company based in North London (N4).

We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking, organised, polite, presentable and positive individual undertaking furniture deliveries, household and office removals across London and beyond.

The role involves also in making sure the vans are ready for the customers in the self drive van hire business and in general labour tasks in the other divisions of the multi-service company when needed.

Person Specification:

Good communication and Customer Service skills
Clean UK Driving Licence (must be at least over 3 year), must be age 25+ (Insurance purpose) and have experience (min. 1 year) driving vans up to 3.5 tonne (LWB and Luton vans).
Must be fit for heavy lifting
Must be flexible with working days, hours and tasks
Prepared to work long hours if needed
Excellent time keeper and reliable
Able to work as part of a team and individually

Requirements:

Min. 6 months experience in the removal industry
Must be able to pack, move, dismantle and reassemble most common furniture
Preferably must live near our depot in North London (N4)
Must be able to start work at 7am if necessary and show flexibility with finishing times (work finishes when the job is complete)

Monday to Saturday

Salary:

£11 per hour + tips + bonus opportunity (removal driver)

£9.50 + tips + bonus opportunity (removal porter)
