is an independent business specialising in the servicing and repair of trailers up to 3.5ton MGW, We are a distributor for new Erdé trailers, and have a substantial online presence selling parts and accessories.

We have a varied customer base including both private and commercial customers and as such have a wide variety of trailers going through the workshop, such as car transporters, horse trailers, plant trailers, boat trailers, balloon trailers etc.

We pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and attention to detail.

We have a fleet of trailers that we hire out on a regular basis that also require regular maintenance and repairs.

Due to continued growth and expansion we are now looking for a part time mechanic to work 3 days a week, 8.30am to 5pm, between Monday and Friday (Normal working days to be agreed prior to start date).

Pay will be on hourly rate, to be agreed prior to start date.

The role includes all aspects of servicing and maintaining a variety of trailers, This includes servicing the braking system, wheel bearings, lights (brakes indicators etc), and tyres (including fitting new tyres).

Other areas of work include general repairs, replacement floors, replacement side panels, assembling new trailers from kit form and other duties as required.

We have a spacious, well equipped workshop, including 4 post ramp, bearing press, tyre machine, forklift etc.

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently, carry out tasks to a high standard, is organised and tidy, and can be adaptable to a range of different tasks.

The role may involve dealing with customers face to face and on the phone in an approachable and professional manner.

• Forklift truck operators license preferable but not compulsory
• Full UK driving license required.
• Previous mechanical experience with trailers, and experience towing trailers would be beneficial.
