We have an opportunity to join our busy and fast paced HR team as a Payroll/HR Assistant, based at our Leeds HQ.
The successful individual will be key in supporting our team with a particular focus on the processing of the monthly payroll for 250 employees.
They will also be involved in the transactional elements of HR, ensuring accuracy and compliance across a range of HR activities.
Payroll Duties
- Working closely with the HR Manager
- Monthly processing of the payroll (250 employees) using our integrated HR/TMS/Payroll system (Mitrefinch).
- Processing of starters & leavers.
- Production of TMS reports and uploading into payroll.
- Production of payroll checking reports, Gross to Net etc. and the production of post payroll reports.
- Sending of RTI information to HMRC.
HR Duties
- Providing HR administration support to the HR Manager. Including production of offer letter and contracts, right to work checks, induction pack production, etc.
- Maintain electronic HR records and systems.
- Recording attendance and managing absence.
- Produce adhoc HR reports as required.
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have: -
- At least 1 years end to end Payroll experience, knowledge of Mitrefinch or any HR/Payroll integrated system would be preferable.
- At least 1 years' experience in a generalist Admin role.
- Experience working in a high pressure fast paced environment.
- A professional approach with the ability to build strong effective relationships.
- Excellent IT/computing skills
- Strong organisational skills being able to manage a varied workload ensuring deadlines are met.
- Can demonstrate ability to listen and understand keep all information private and confidential.
- Have a confidential and professional approach.
- A good team worker, willing to actively participate in all department activities.
