Description

Working under the day to day control of the Production Manager your role is Working Supervisor.

Roles and Responsibilities.

Day to day duties including, but not limited to:

Ensure compliant with all Health & Safety
Supervise and organise members of the team ensuring productivity at all times
Diagnosing breakdown problems and faults
Quality checking
Forklift driving loading and unloading of lorries, moving stock around site
Repairing equipment
Fitting new parts and ensuing equipment is working correctly
Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and minor repairs
Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Maximising production efficiencies
Fill out any required paperwork currently and ensure this is passed to the relevant person
Supervise and train members of the team
Comply with all company policies and procedures

Skills and Experience.

An ability to work well under pressure
Excellent planning and leadership abilities
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven experience as a supervisor (minimum 3 years, including disciplinary) / people leading
Able to do a rotating shift pattern
Able to multi task
Good delegator
Experience working to set quality standards
Basic maintenance experience
Not afraid to get hands on
Excellent communication skills
Relevant technical knowledge
Fork lift experience but not essential
Problem solving skills
Efficient and organised

Hours of work.

Your hours of work will follow a continental shift pattern. You will at times be requested to work additional hours in support of the business needs. Some out of hours work may also be required.

Salary:
£30,000.00 per year
