The role is working with an established Bradford based engineering company that has been in business over 20 years.

They are looking for an experienced, self sufficient Accounts Assistant to join their growing business and work within a well established team.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Dealing with purchase invoices
  • Assisting the processing of subcontractor payments
  • Processing subcontractor invoices retentions
  • Assisting with the processing of employee expenses
  • Processing credit cards
  • Notifying suppliers of queries
  • Reconciliation of nominal Ledgers
  • Assisting with credit control monthly debtors & retentions
  • Setting up new supplier and customer records ensuring all relevant forms have been sent out and completed
  • Assisting Financial Controller to carry out other ad hoc tasks as required
  • Credit Control
  • Inputting information onto finance system and using Excel
  • Preparing weekly supplier payment run
The package on offer for this role is
- £26,000

  • 28 days holiday + BH
  • 5% pension contributions
