Senior Project Professional - Programmes Benefits Support


Salary:
From £38, 734 depending on skills and experience


What you'll be doing:

  • Establishing a common set of standards (including data quality metrics) both on the IPs and within their own team that enable delivery of highquality baseline artefacts
  • Creating and updating the required datasets and reporting packs to report the SSNR programme's benefits position to key stakeholders at a range of boards and forums
  • Developing the programme's reporting methods
  • Supporting IP benefits leads and facilitators in their benefit identification and mapping exercises.
  • Challenging benefits cases from the industrial partners and ensuring benefits work is targeting the required outcomes.
  • Challenge Benefits being claimed
  • Supporting project reviews with the Programme Benefits Lead and others in the JVMT, PMO and IP
  • Raising awareness of benefits management and the requirements for fulfilling the SSNR programme's aspirations for benefits management
  • Ensuring processes, documentation and communications are kept uptodate

Your skills and experiences:

  • Graduate level qualification in project management, engineering/construction or demonstratable equivalent work experience
  • Experience in programmes or projects
  • Experience of working with stakeholders across multiple functions and grade structures, and facilitating/influencing decision making at these levels
  • Ability to support on the presentation to stakeholders at all levels
  • Good Experience in Microsoft office
  • Excel/PowerPoint/Word

The Programme Integration JVMT (Joint Value Management Team):

The Joint Value Management Team (JVMT) and Programme Management Office (PMO) work collaboratively within the Programme Integration Layer to bring together data and capabilities to give management information for SSNA programme decisions.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Lead to set up, maintain, and update the benefits management processes so that opportunities can be analysed and pursued, and the resulting benefits can be tracked to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight to a diverse stakeholder network while learning not only about BAE Systems but also about other members of the submarine enterprise.

Working as part of a wider team, you will have exposure to various different PM workstreams and projects.
