THE ROLE


Working as part of a Team responsible for delivering the manpower plan, completing administrative activities to ensure that Operational areas have the right people in the right place at the right time.

Daily contact with all Operational areas to ensure flow of information to meet the requirements of the area in line with Financial budgets.


DUTIES

  • Follow an agreed manpower strategy led by the Manpower Planning Manager and administrate decisions which optimise resource levels and are cost efficient.
  • Liaise with relevant teams to ensure expected level of resource is achieved.
  • Administrate the movement of staff within and between departments to optimise resource levels.
  • Update and maintain operational attendance entries within Time Attendance (T&A) and Workforce Management systems.
  • Produce operational worksheets and resource outlooks with the preparation of work allocation for the relevant department.
  • Administration of overtime bidding and allocation. Ensure overtime is allocated equitably and fairly in line with agreed process.
  • Review and transact requested shift swaps to support an optimised manpower plan.
  • Review and transact pending leave and lieu to support an optimised manpower plan.
  • Review and transact nonconsolidated shift pay process and queries.
  • Review and transact any offline attendance to support operational programmes.
  • Review and respond to resource queries from operational departments and colleagues.
  • Ensure WTL compliance across all administrative functions, with any potential breaches identified, resolved or escalated prior to shift attendance.
  • Accurate input of data into appropriate IT systems.
  • Supporting relevant administrative tasks within the department as required.
  • Accountabilities may flex according to changes in technology or business requirements.
