A leading housing association in is recruiting a Maintenance Officer to join a mobile DLO team covering properties in South West London.

This opportunity is an immediate start on a temporary assignment with the opportunity to go permanent after three months (£27 - £28k).

UK driving license required as van provided, as well as tools, uniform, fuel card and trade card.

Working as part of a maintenance response team, you will be allocated housing estates to which you will carry out minor repairs, re-decorations, adaptations and general maintenance duties to estates, properties and communal areas.

Duties will include;

Carrying out minor repairs, painting. fence repairs, lock replacements.
Assisting with clearance and redecoration of void properties.
Complete equipment and adaptation work (hand rails, grab rails, half steps)
Assisting in carrying out estate inspections, reporting abandoned vehicles and fly tipping.
Work with neighbourhood managements team to ensure that tenants enjoy a safe and clean environment.
Keeping estates clean and tide by monitoring contract performance.

You must have previous experience of carrying out a wide range of small repairs, be willing to do occassional manual labour and have am understanding the differing needs of tenants.
