The business is undergoing an exciting phase of infrastructure transformation, and this is your chance to lead and participate in those projects, working with enterprise-class technologies.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Support and maintain key infrastructure systems such as servers, storage, LAN & WAN
  • Lead and participate in infrastructure improvement projects
  • Manage/maintain onpremise Hyper-V server estate and storage
  • Play a key role in our Azure migration project
  • Create documentation for key infrastructure tasks and processes
  • Ensure integrity of all backup processes and perform regular DR tests

What we are looking for:


  • Experience of HP and Dell server, storage and client computing hardware
  • Experience of cloud computing platforms such as Azure/AWS
  • Strong knowledge and experience of networking technologies such as Cisco or Meraki, including configuration of trunks, portchannels and a firm grasp of TCP/IP
  • Experience of managing Next Generation Firewalls such as Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint or similar, as well as experience of managing and supporting sitesite and client VPNs
  • Experience of administering onprem or cloudbased phone systems, preferably in a call centre environment
  • Indepth experience of administering Microsoft server operating systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure AD Sync and the Microsoft 365 product stack
  • Experience of backup technologies and processes, using products such as Veeam or similar
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • An organised selfstarter with a proactive mindset and a cando attitude
  • Ability to travel at short notice and perform well under pressure
