Finance Apprentice - L4 AAT Trainee with ECA International
Hours Per Week:36.25
Short Description:
Provide reliable support to the Accounting & Finance Team to ensure day-to-day financial and accounting administrative tasks are carried out correctly, efficiently and in line with Group policies.
Full Description:
- Raise sales invoices (AR).
- Process purchase invoices and POs (AP).
- Maintain AR & AP inboxes.
- Set up bimonthly payment runs.
- Reconcile bank account transactions.
- Assist with credit control.
- Process credit card requests from business.
- Maintain and file finance documents.
- Process employee expense claims.
- Manage petty cash.
- Any other ad hoc tasks at the appropriate level as requested by the Group Financial Controller from time to time.

As an Accounting Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Professional Accountancy Taxation Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. Within the apprenticeship you will undertake the _AAT certificate level professional _qualification.
The apprenticeship will be completed at a BPP centre or via the Online Classroom platform, in addition to at the workplace.
Duration:
18 months
Skills Required:
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, checking work before submission.
- Well organised, with good time management skills.
- Ability to build productive relationships with other team members, departments and customers / suppliers.
- Experience using Excel, Word and Outlook.
Personal Qualities:
- Positive attitude towards work.
- Proactive.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Commitment to professional development and willingness to pursue professional qualifications (e.g. AAT).
- Aptitude for and willingness to learn new financial software and computerised accounting systems.
Qualifications Required:
- Grade C or above in at least 5 GCSEs including English and mathematics.

- significant work experience.
