Eng4ge Business Consultancy are working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Financial planner to support a growing Financial Services practice.

They will support the Partner in servicing clients and providing a high level of client service. Theyare responsible writing suitability letters, cashflow documents and providing technical reports to the ongoing servicing of the client bank.

This established Wealth Management practice is based in Cardiff and has a strong client base.

The Practice represents a FSTE 100 brand and has seen its success grow through the ethos of offering quality, face-to-face wealth management advice and commitmentto building trusted and enduring relationships with its clients.

The company's proposition is further enhanced by its distinctive approach to investment management.

This is a full time (35hrs Monday-Friday) based in our offices located in Cardiff City Centre. Flexibility on hours would be considered. Full training on internal systems and processes will be provided.


Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing the client's financial information and documents including collating quantitative information from various sources and updating/creating the Client Financial Review documents.
  • Attending and supporting Partner at client meetings.
  • Responsible for Preparation of suitability letters, reports, and financial plans.
  • Creation and maintenance of clients' cash flow forecasts/balance sheets.
  • Transacting complex client investments and ensuring that deals are carried out in line with instructions.
  • Point of contact for providers/3rd parties in relation to technical and complex administrative queries.
  • Can provide up to date feedback and updates on all client cases when required to Partner/Advisor and management team.
  • Using SJP computer systems and following SJP/team processes to 'place' straightforward investments.
  • Preparing simple client reports in accordance with the agreed recommendations; and
  • Any other duties as may reasonably be required for both the business, consistent with the vacancy.
  • Responsible for effective client servicing of existing client base.
  • Support Business development and client service strategy.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working within an IFA, Bank or Wealth Management environment and have attained the Level 4 Dip PFS qualification, Chartered is preferable.
  • Ability to build rapport and manage client relationships, and have excellent attention to detail, plus the ability to selfmanage and be superb at time management
  • Possess outstanding client services skills, ensuring the very best outcomes for clients at all times, putting the clients' interests first
  • A very good working knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs, and be able to learn inhouse admin platforms and processes
  • The willingness to undertake personal development, including studying for Professional
  • Qualifications, as well as maintaining internal qualification requirements & compliance standards.
