Description
E.W.Taylor, a well-established logistics company with offices in Sittingbourne, Kent, has vacancies in its expanding customs clearance department.


Applicants must be fully conversant with all aspects of import/export documentation and procedures with at least 1 years' experience submitting declarations to CDS/CHIEF and Destin8 / CNS systems.

Systems experience with Descartes/E-Customs preferable.


You will have a good understanding of import/export procedures across all commodities including port health requirements and documentation including CVED's.

A clear understanding of port systems including CNS/Destin8 and the ability to prepare and submit customs declarations is a prerequisite.

You will currently be in a customs clearance role and be a team player with strong motivational and organisational skills with good attention to detail.

You will have good communication skills, both verbally and written.

IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suites particularly Excel.


Based in the Sittingbourne office and reporting to the Operations Manager your hours will be Monday to Friday with a flexible attitude as there may be a requirement for occasional out of hours work remotely.

£23,000.00 per year
