Our client an electronics manufacturing company in Hook, Hampshire have the opportunity for a team of
SMT (surface mount) operators/ soldering person and SMT Inspectors to join their team in Hook on a permanent basis.

The
SMT (surface mount) operators/ soldering person will be responsible for carrying out Surface Mount Technology (SMT) activities to quality and industry standards.

**Key responsibilities

SMT (surface mount) operators/ soldering person**:
Use written work instructions and items lists to assemble products to customer specifications and IPC-J-STD-001 Class 3 as directed
Operating SMT machinery
Liaising with SMT Technician, the quality and engineering team regarding timescales, documentation and other SMT queries

**Experience & person specification

SMT (surface mount) operators/ Soldering person**:
Ability to work to written instructions and bills of materials
IPC certification desirable
Understanding of component identification codes such as resistors and capacitors
Excellent level of dexterity

Salary:
Up to £24,000 PA (plus a 20% shift allowance for the night shift)

Shifts Available:

Day shift pattern:
Monday - Thursday & Friday
OR Night shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday
