We are an outstanding Trust with a strong commitment to inclusion and belonging for all our staff.As an Assistant Director of HR Operations you will report to the Deputy Director and take strategic responsibility for the following key portfolios of work
- Recruitment
- Temporary Staffing (including our responsibilities as 'lead employer' for the vaccination programme)
- E-Rostering & Job Planning
- People/Workforce Analytics
- ESR and Workforce System
As well as providing leadership to the above teams, you will work alongside the Deputy Director of People Services & Organisational Effectiveness to continuously improve end-to-end processes in the above areas (including robotics automation), as well as playing a key role in developing a model for 'scaling-up' people services within the Derbyshire system.
You will develop and deliver a strategic response to the Trust's recruitment and resourcing challenges and as part of the 'joint venture' between Derbyshire Community Health Services and Derbyshire Healthcare, you will take strategic responsibility for ensuring that the recruitment team and temporary staffing team are able to respond to the operational needs of services within both Trusts.
Finally, you will be the strategic lead for analysis and provision of people data and the Electronic Staff Record for both Derbyshire Community Health Services and Derbyshire Healthcare and a key stakeholder in the 'Derbyshire Digital' Project.
As a leader with highly developed people management skills you will be able influence senior managers across two complex organisations.
