Description
The School of Biological Sciences is home to an historical teaching collection of zoological specimens. The collection remains a central component of our taught degrees.

The Cole Museum of Zoology moved to a new biology building in 2020, but the remaining bulk of the collection needs to be maintained and eventually moved to a new location.

We require a general project officer to help with the organisation, packing and moving of specimen.

The post holder will also be involved in cataloguing of the specimens, updating our website, organising museum outreach events and delivering social media.

The post holder will supervise volunteers on a Wednesday afternoon to help with these tasks.

Interview date: 06/03/2023
