Bodyshop Workshop Controller


This is a fabulous opportunity to join a family run business in the AM top 100 and represent one of our fantastic manufacturer partners.

We are looking for ambitious and driven individuals who are passionate in providing world class customer service. We live by the mantra that we have one standard and it is world class.

This role comes with a basic salary of £32,000.00 with a very easily achievable OTE of over £38,000.00 per annum.


We need you to want to be the best, with a real top one percent mindset, you be committed to expanding your product knowledge through a variety of training channels and be compliant with all Service Department procedures.

We believe our working hours are class leading. You will work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday with Saturday on a rota basis.

About You


We are recruiting for a Bodyshop Workshop Controller to join our Beeston Bodyshop, for this role it is essential you have Bodyshop Management experience.


As a Workshop Controller you will be highly organised, accurate, have excellent organisation skills and able to manage the demands of multiple duties.

You will need the ability to prioritise your workload, along with a strong attention to detail are essential in this role.

Your main focus will be to supervise and prioritise the workshop Technician's in a very busy workshop.


Understanding the Technician's skill sets you will be tasked with supervising a team of Technicians to make sure the work is done to high Brand standards whilst adhering to departmental budgets and timescales.


It will be your job to make sure the vehicle goes through the workshop in a seamless manner, liaising with the Service Advisors to ensure the customer is kept fully up to date.


It is a busy service department that will offer you the opportunity to utilise your skills and experience to help drive the department forward.


Experience:


We are looking for someone with a like for like background, so experience within a Workshop Controllers role is required.


We would like you to have strong people management skills and be able to demonstrate that you can control a workshop of Technicians efficiently.

Quality Control experience would also be advantageous.


This is a busy but rewarding role, requiring a committed and reliable work ethic, alongside a desire to enjoy the role and working within a great team.

Customer care is key to our operations and demonstrating great awareness in this area is essential.


If you have worked in retail previously, you will be glad to know we close Easter Sunday, Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years Day.
