Description

Newly created Engineer position Experienced, multi-skilled Engineer required for consumer foods business. Continental shift pattern 7am-6/6.30pm.

You - Engineer:

Multiskilled engineering experience.
Engineering experience working within an automated production facility.
Ideally City & Guilds BTEC Level 3 or above in Electrical / Mechanical engineering.
A recognised apprenticeship within a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
Selfmotivated and have excellent communication skills.

The role - Engineer

Respond promptly to breakdowns with expected downtime and planned corrective actions
Work with production team to guide and train staff to identify potential improvements to OEE, breakdown reduction and improvement of machine standards and operation.
Work with the engineering team to test, install and commission new equipment prior to 'go live' of the packing centre
Conduct planned preventative maintenance and other equipment servicing as directed by the engineering manager
Work closely with the fellow engineers and the production team to develop a dynamic and positive attitude to the challenges of a busy production department
The site is committed to being "auditready" at all times. Therefore, it is imperative that site hygiene, health & safety, and document control are always all in line with customer specifications
