    Job Purpose:

    We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Site Manager to oversee cleaning operations, act as the main point of contact for the client, and ensure service delivery is consistently maintained to the highest standard.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    Client & Stakeholder Management

    • Act as the primary contact for the client, liaising daily and building strong working relationships.
    • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual cleaning reports at client meetings.
    • Provide detailed daily handovers and weekly reports to both the client and Divisional Director.
    • Attend weekly catch-ups with the evening manager and hold regular meetings with the Divisional Director.
    • Liaise with subcontractors, scheduling visits, monitoring service levels, and reporting accordingly.
    • Support the delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

    Operational Management

    • Conduct daily site walkarounds, audits, and record results on the i-Auditor app.
    • Ensure specifications are followed and that periodic works are scheduled and completed.
    • Manage delivery and distribution of stores and consumables, adhering to site budgets.
    • Oversee machinery maintenance, PAT testing, and ensure all equipment is clean and serviceable.
    • Ensure paperwork, reports, and wage sheets are completed accurately and submitted on time.

    Team Leadership & Training

    • Lead, motivate, and support cleaning operatives to deliver excellent service standards.
    • Conduct staff inductions, ensuring compliance with company training policy, Health & Safety, colour coding, fire drills, security procedures, and site specifications.
    • Record all training activities and maintain up-to-date staff training records.
    • Carry out Toolbox Talks (TBTs) monthly with all operatives.
    • Undertake appraisals, retraining, and performance management where necessary.

    Health, Safety & Compliance

    • Take ownership of all site-based Health & Safety matters, including risk assessments, accident reporting, and communicating issues to the support team.
    • Maintain site files with up-to-date COSHH information, RAMS, and colour coding posters.

    About You

    • A good command of English Language.
    • Proven experience in facilities or cleaning management.
    • Strong client relationship management skills.
    • Excellent organisational and reporting ability.
    • Knowledge of CAFM/helpdesk systems desirable.
    • Confident leader with the ability to train, motivate, and support a team.
    • Strong understanding of Health & Safety and compliance requirements.

    • High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
    • Clear and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
    • Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving capabilities.

    • Experience in contract and commercial management .

    Desirable Skills:

    • Minimum of three years experience in the cleaning, facilities management, or logistics industry.
    • Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese (desirable).
