Location:
Access Creative College London, N1 6LP and from September, E1 1LA


Hours:
Full-time,
37.5 hours per week


Salary:
£25,000 to £31,000 (qualified) £22,000 to £24,000 (unqualified) per annum. Plus London Weighting of £2750 per annum FTE.


About the Role


You will lead and inspire the next generation of gaming talent through your planning and delivery of the games curriculum.

You will mark and assess learner projects, setting high expectations and motivating them to be the best that they can be.

You will be a role model, providing our learners with innovative, practical and employment-led training.


From September, this position will be based at our new London campus which is going through an evolution, and from September 2023 will be situated at our brand new, purpose-built and designed 19,000 square feet campus on Commercial Road in London's East End.

This campus will be a creative hub for gaming, esports, music, media and computing.


You will have up-to-date knowledge of 3D modelling, UV unwrapping, texturing, lighting and rendering, 3D animation, 3D art, modelling, texturing, and rigging; industry-standard pipeline and kinematics in relevant software (Blender, Maya, Unreal, 3Ds Max).

You will have theoretical knowledge across the broad spectrum of games, for example, job roles and skills, narrative design and development, and story progression.

You will collaborate with others to share best practices and ensure that our learners get the highest quality experience. You will work with experienced, passionate tutors as well as within a support service provided by our Central Team.

You will have excellent administrative and organisational skills which will help you to effectively manage the course structure and Schemes of Work and to organise internal and external examination/assessment-related administration including the moderation and verification of coursework and internal course assessments.

Salary Scale:
£25,000 to £27,000 (qualified) £22,000 to £24,000 (unqualified) per annum.
