Overview


The Digital Strategist will be responsible for helping our clients build out digital marketing objectives and executions that address their overall business objectives.

They will combine insight gathering with innovative thinking to conceptualize and present new digital programs/plans for clients.

This role will focus on working collaboratively with the rest of the strategy team, creative, account on our health and biotech accounts.


Responsibilities:


  • Mastery of our suite of data tools including social listening, cultural insights, media research etc.
  • Dive into tools to create initial recommendations on channel targeting and/or influencers
  • Be able to dig fearlessly for data and insights to identify and leverage market and customer insights into meaningful brand idea and strategies.
  • Have a strong POV on strategic insights be able to defend your thinking with a compelling narrative
  • Be brave challenge the status quo. Introduce new ideas, don't be afraid to break the mould
  • Work closely with account management and creative teams to become a valued strategic partner both internally and externally
  • Work closely with wider Omnicom partners (with relevant digital expertise) to propose and deliver solutions for clients
  • Work with senior managers on developing POVs, and summaries on strategic thinking
  • Work closely with head of Omnichannel and external media partners to assess various channel needs to engage our client's customers
  • Develop research reports to identify opportunities for brands based on learnings
  • Work with creative teams, including designers and copywriters, to develop exceptional content for our clients customized for social platforms and ad units
  • Support teams to measure campaign performance through native tools, identifying a clear narrative from the numbers and generating insightful recommendations.
  • Cultivate and maintain indepth knowledge and understanding of innovations in digital media and trends to help wider TBWA team deliver the most disruptive solutions for their clients

Qualifications and Experience:


  • 35 years of experience in digital media, ideally in biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare industries
  • Experience using multiple tools to research and understand user behaviours and make channel recommendations
  • Highly organized, mindful of deadlines, able to multitask and work under limited supervision
  • Detail oriented, wellorganized professional who performs with a sense of urgency, and stays on schedule and on budget
  • Outstanding written and oral communications and presentations skills; creativity is key
  • Ideally, an understanding of the ABPI and EFPIA regulations guiding digital marketing efforts for biotech and pharma clients
  • Experience collaborating effectively internally and externally as part of an integrated team
