Primary Teacher - Maternity Cover


A prominent primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a talented Key Stage 2 teacher to join their team on a one-year contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

The school is located in a brand new development and offers state-of-the-art facilities,creating a dynamic and conducive learning environment.

As a Key Stage 2 teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students in Key Stage
  • Building positive and effective learning environments
  • Continuously monitoring and assessing student progress, providing both students and parents with constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan lessons and provide extra support to students as needed
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching practices
  • Adhering to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures
To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 students
  • A comprehensive understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and assessment processes
  • A proven record of improving student achievement
  • Strong classroom management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The willingness to commit to a oneyear contract with the possibility of becoming permanent
The school offers a daily pay rate ranging from MPS1 to MPS6 starting after Easter.
