About the Role

Holder of a PhD in a relevant field (or working towards) you will have an emerging or proven track record in research and publication with the ability to contribute to research activity across the complementary areas of sport and exercise sciences, physical activity and health, sports injuries, professional practice and pedagogy, and social science of sport and physical activity.

You will be expected to contribute to the research activities of one of our Research Units and meet the requirements for submission to the next Research Excellence exercise.

About You

You will be able to undertake the teaching and assessment of theoretical and practical aspects of our Physical Education and School Sport undergraduate degree programme and be expected to contribute to our other undergraduate programmes, to the Department's research activity, and as appropriate, to the academic administration of the Department.
