CAD technician - £40-£50per day 12 month Contract role (Hybrid/Remote)


My client are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is a great team player and will join a multi-disciplinary team within the UK water sector.


Experience:


  • Level 5 or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Water and/or wastewater design experience


  • Experience in either

  • Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D or Naviswork
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Have a passion for solving design issues through the use of technology
  • Pipework modelling
  • Reinforcement detailing and specification

Key responsibilities:


  • Produce models and drawings ensuring compliance with relevant local and national standards
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team
  • Provide input to the preconstruction health and safety plan, including risk assessments.
  • Participate in project reviews relating to design
  • Work crossfunctionally across the Alliance to ensure project requirements are met and drive efficient delivery
  • Proactively research, present and implement innovative new processes and ways of working to optimise output
