Based in Sunderland we are looking for an Outbound Advisor to join our team on a full time permanent contract working 38.5 hours per week, the hours of work are Monday to Friday between 9am - 6pm and Saturday 9am - 12:30pm.

You will be required to work 1 Saturday in 4.


It will be your job to contact potential new customers for car, van, bike, motor trader, home or other general insurance.

You will gain information from the customer and transfer the call to the relevant insurance partner.


Main responsibilities:


  • Know your customer and match the right product to their needs.
  • Develop a rapport with the customers, make sure they want to buy from us and stay with us.
  • Take accountability for the delivery of your sales and retention targets.
  • To work as part of a team and drive excitement with your colleagues to be number one.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Previous sales experience and commercial awareness is advantageous.
  • Friendly, eagertoplease nature.
  • Natural ability to interact with others.
  • Tenacious attitude.
  • Confidence on the telephone.
  • Ability to use the computer quickly and accurately.
  • Comfortable working with numbers.

Salary:
£22,308.00 Basic plus uncapped commission

OTE £28,000-£30,000

As the Company is regulated by the FCA, we are bound by FCA rules and guidelines.

These guidelines require that we ensure all the individuals in our management structure and any staff directly involved in insurance distribution activities are of good repute.

In considering whether any such person is of good repute we are required to ensure that you have a clean criminal record in relation to serious criminal offences linked to crimes against property or other crimes related to financial activities and whether you have previously been declared bankrupt.

We must give particular consideration to offences of dishonesty, fraud, financial crime or other offences under legislation relating to banking and financial services, companies, insurance and consumer protection.
