Grounds care / property maintenance Operative ( Self Employed Preferred)
We supply a host of services in the commercial property sector.

Wage is between £14-£18 per hour
If you have your own small business, or currently work for yourself. AMW are interested in hearing from you.
The aim is that we would work together on a regular weekly basis.

A break down of the skills / works we carry out:
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficient with basic maintenance tools.
- Clean, repair, and otherwise maintain the interior and exterior of buildings.
- Maintain facilities in a safe and secure manner.
- Have practical handson DIY skills.
- Able to identify and remedy a variety of maintenance tasks.
- Have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake online training to improve knowledge.
- Have good problem solving, customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in general maintenance/DIY & repair of the building
- Understanding of preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of basic grounds care maintenance.
- Painting,
- Carpentry
- Plumbing
- Brickwork
- Fence installation,
- Tarmac repairs,
- Drainage repairs.
- Ability to clean equipment, machinery and cleaning materials at the end of the day.
- Organised to complete all daily tasks on time and be ready for adhoc jobs.
- Compliance with Health & safety requirements, COSHH regulations, Fire safety procedures
- Grounds care :Experience working with Strimmer's, Walk behind mowers, Ride on mowers, Hedge cutters, leaf blowers.
- Boom lift and scissor lift, for repairs and painting.
- PA1-PA6 useful
- Full UK Driving licence required preferably with "C1" for towing trailers etc
Operate within planned maintenance procedures for assets etc, effectively and safely within their range of qualifications, levels of competence, training and experience.

Carry out maintenance inspection and repairs to various types of heating, water, ventilation, electrical, mechanical and security etc. equipment and services on site, where necessary and within their range of qualifications, levels of competence, training and experience
Assist on diagnosing faults on all Mechanical & Electrical support systems and rectifying where necessary and within their range of qualifications, levels of competence, training and experience.
Assisting in the development of maintenance routines, procedures, risk assessments, preparing and maintaining relevant technical records.
Working with other craft qualified, semi-skilled and non-skilled maintenance staff to develop cross-skilling and cover all levels and aspects of maintenance activities on a team work basis.
Carry out maintenance activities to assist in project and improvement development works, offering alternatives to improve the effectiveness of the operation of the site if required.
