ORB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an
Accounts Administrator to join our clients team who is a well-established construction contractor, with work taking place at their head office in the
Dinnington area (S25).

  • Process and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and payments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to financial records.
  • Manage and maintain vendor and customer accounts, ensuring timely and accurate payments and collections.
  • Assist in payroll processing, including maintaining employee records, calculating hours, and addressing any payrollrelated queries.
  • Assist in monthend and yearend closing procedures.
  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks and projects as required.
  • Plus other admin duties.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Exceptional organizational

Pay:
Up to £35,000


Hours: 37.5 hours per week
