About The Role
About You

You will have a detailed understanding of the mortgage market, particularly with regards to regulatory requirements and excellent investigative, analytical, research and reasoning skills in development of Lending Policy change proposals in response to externaland internal changes.

You will have a detailed knowledge of regulatory expectations with regards to Lending Policy (e.g., Climate Change, PRA/FCA changes etc), and ability to determine and deliver required Lending Policy change and / or demonstrate complianceusing your understanding of the components of underwriting decision (scorecards, bureau data, affordability model, policy rules, property risk) and how Lending Policy augments with these components.

Excellent planning and organising skills coupled with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively both verbally and in writing is essential, as is a positive attitude towards co-operation and teamwork.

An ability to develop and maintain good workingrelationships with both internal and external parties at all levels is essential as is an ability to show discretion and maintain total confidentiality when required.
