AJ Chambers are proud to have partnered with a top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Manager.

Your role:

You would be working for a company that prides itself on offering a friendly personal service to its clients, ranging from owner managed businesses to high-net-worth individuals and Trustees.

In addition to the day-to-day accountancy and tax compliance services,they have expertise in areas such as helping businesses grow, tax planning, advising on acquisitions and sales and, succession and exit planning.

This role would see you based primarily in the Hertfordshire office, reporting to a Tax Principal.

You would be provided with an exciting opportunity to manage the compliance affairs of a wide-ranging portfolio of corporate and personal clients and developtechnical experience by supporting the Business Tax Team in providing advisory services on more complex tax matters such as incorporations, IT/CGT planning, R&D claims, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS.

Who would this suit:

You would ideally be CTA qualified, with experience at supervisor level, or senior level with supervisor duties, including supporting juniors in the team.

Your experience would be gained in Practice, and you would have the ability to work on a portfolioof OMBs, taking responsibility for compliance work and identifying tax planning opportunities.

Understanding interaction with non-corporate taxes an advantage.
