Job REF 05/Saltcoats /SB.

Hours: 9.25-hour part time post x 2. This will include evening and Weekend support as and when required.


Salary:

  • £11.44 per hour plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave pro rata.
The position would suit someone energetic and outgoing who is able to weekdays and work at the weekend.

Hours to be discussed at interview.

Approximately 9.25 hours per week, the hours would be to support primarily with helping the person to increase her mobility, mainly helping her to go swimming.

Assisting with showering, dressing, undressing and getting in and out of the water.


It is also required that the PA will assist with taking the person to the Dawn group once a month, finding new activities together that she might like, encouraging independence by walking and using the bus when the weather permits.

Support also with some batch cooking, shopping and going out for an occasional coffee.

This post is to provide support to a person who has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and osteoarthritis. She is a wheelchair user both electric and manual.

She has a sociable nature, great sense of humour and enjoys, swimming, the cinema, social groups, cooking, music and walking the dog.

She is keen to source groups in the community that she could join with likeminded people.

Two up to date Reference contacts are required one of which must be from a present or previous employer.

In addition, a new PVG enhanced disclosure will be required prior to appointment (disclosure cost to be met by the employer).
