Description

Machine Shop Operative required for a large engineering business in Kings Lynn.
-
Hourly Rate: £17.00 per hour (Overtime available)
-
Hours of Work: Mon-Fri, 7am to 3:30pm (w/ 30 mins for lunch break)

As a Machine Shop Operative, you'll ensure all aspects of production are being run at optimum capacity, as well as ensuring drawings are processed correctly and materials are used.

You'll also make sure that work is on schedule, give feedback and plan work.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily Laser operations and report to Machine Shop Supervisor
Responsible for the completion of daily work given.
Ensure maximum productivity is achieved
Ensure produced parts are to a high standard
Inspect materials and end products
Ensure the machine shop and work areas are clean and organised
Perform inprocess and final inspections as per CE procedures.
Follow all CE UKAS procedures and work instructions and support your team to work within these procedures.
Experience working in a CNC Machine Shop
Able to read complex technical drawings.
Mechanical background
Knowledge of DMG, HAAS, XYZ MAZAK, COLCHESTER, BRIDGEPORT equipment
