WHAT TO EXPECT
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Imports Outbound Supervisor to join the JLR Import, Export Operations Trading Division.

This is a unique team within the business that has a core function to buy products around the world in support of JLR's global manufacturing activities.

The IEO Trading Division Export Sales Centres (ESC) in other regions, such as China, will enable the business to import Chinese produced components for use in our European manufacturing facilities.


As the Imports Outbound Supervisor, you will be the daily point of contact for the JLR plants, ensuring that all plant deliverables are managed and parts are shipped to JLR plant or Deconsolidation Centres on time, in full and within targets.

The role will also involve supporting the contract management of service providers. This is a customer-facing role primarily responsible for managing the relationship with TD Imports customers.


The Imports Outbound Supervisor function oversees the Imports Processing Centre operation and is critical to facilitating a seamless handoff of customer demand through the E2E process as enabler to an efficient outbound process through accurate control and data alignment.

This position requires knowledge of both inbound, outbound, customer and central TD processes and a large degree of interaction with all teams in both daily operations as well as in order to support new process/IT implementations.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities


In this role you will work on operational tasks at Imports to ensure the timely and successful resolution of all supply chain delivery issues, supporting JLR plants on new model launch plans and production strategies.


Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with internal and external customers, stakeholders and the supplier base to ensure Vehicle / Engine Programmes objectives are delivered resulting to overall improvement of logistics flow

Provide support and project management for the LLP development by promoting performance improvement

Monitor and track resolution to all logistics problems and issue to ensure improvements are achieved

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
We are looking for someone with extensive Supply Chain Development experience covering Material Requirements Planning (MRP). You will also be someone that is an advanced SAP user.

Strong analytical skills and number/financial affinity

Has an in depth knowledge of customer demand rules and expectations

Has an in-depth knowledge of outbound and shipping processes

Experience of process improvements in Logistics Flow
