Fixed term or Secondment opportunity


This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and support our newly recruited international nurses in their journey to join our Trust, making their recruitment experience the best it can be.


You will work closely with our recruitment team and Electronic Staff Record (ESR), human resources and clinical education teams making this is a varied and interesting job.

We are looking for highly organised, flexible and outgoing individual with excellent communication skills to join our growing team.

The successful applicant will have experience working in an administrative role in a busy environment.

They will be able to utilise their skills, such as word and excel and be comfortable with using other computer programmes as we use two national systems for recruiting our staff.


We will provide in-house training and support and you will have the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge whilst working within a friendly and established team.


You will have a pleasant telephone manner, be friendly and approachable and enjoy working in a busy team but be able to use your initiative when necessary.

You will also need to have the flexibility to cover various admin tasks in a highly demanding work environment whilst maintaining standards and following trust procedures.


A large part of this role is supporting our International Nursing recruitment programme and will include liaising with agencies and other stakeholders on the recruiting and onboarding of this group of staff.

You will be confident in arranging travel and accommodation and flexible to be able to meet them on arrival to the Trust.


You don't need to have worked in healthcare before, as long as you possess the above qualities and are willing and eager to learn new skills.


Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust provides community-based health services for adults and children in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and some services in surrounding areas too.

These range from district nursing, health visiting and running four community hospitals through to providing very specialist community care through talented and dedicated staff.
