Exciting Opportunity for a Production Scheduler.

We are searching for a Production Scheduler to join our talented team based in Peterborough.


As a Production Scheduler, you will ensure we meet our high on time delivery targets whilst managing relationships with key areas of the business.

You will work closely with the Manufacturing Manager and the Supply Chain to meet customer deliveries whilst satisfying quality, inventory and cost.

You will also be required to keep the relevant teams up to date any issues that arise which could cause delay to the customer.

This is a permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.

We offer hybrid working for this role which will allow you to enjoy the balance of home working and collaboration time with the team in our modern, friendly offices which include free onsite parking.

What Needs To Be Done?

  • Create tender (bid) and baselined contract programmes using MS Project
  • Monitor and manage manufacturing performance
  • Create and manage workload and resource capacity planning
  • Attend/Chair various meetings concerning Project, Manufacturing and Supply Chain issues
  • Review and monitor shop loading and identify components for subcontract or requirements for subcontract labour.
  • Create work orders and purchase demands where necessary.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and Finance to ensure that manufacturing targets are met
  • Provide delivery lead times to Project Managers for their contracts
  • To be successful you must have_
  • Strong Ms Project Skills
  • Proven experience as Production Planner
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP system
  • Strong organisation and problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Good organisational skills
  • Driven and commitment to achieve project objectives
  • It's a bonus if you have (but not essential).._
  • Knowledge and understanding of project programs
  • Experience of ERP/MRP Systems
