Are you fluent in Welsh and passionate about education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor to join our team.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuity of learning in the absence of regular teaching staff.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of students and gain valuable experience in the field of education.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and manage classroom activities during the shortterm absence of regular teachers.
  • Deliver preprepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged and ontask.
  • Maintain a positive and orderly learning environment, promoting good behavior and discipline.
  • Support and assist students with their learning, providing guidance and clarification as needed.
  • Manage classroom resources and equipment effectively.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and follow their instructions and lesson plans.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to regular teachers.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as taking attendance and reporting any incidents or concerns to the appropriate individuals.

Requirements:


  • Fluent in Welsh (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience working in a similar role or educational environment is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with students effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different classroom situations.
  • A genuine passion for education and the wellbeing of students.

£90.00-£120.00 per day
