Description

The role
As a member of Payroll team, undertaking a range of administrative duties across the function without supervision. To be an expert in one or more services and train, guide and support others with tasks as required.


What will I be doing?

  • Ensure compliance with organisation policies, procedures and work instructions
  • To take ownership of problems and be proactive when dealing with all issues.
  • Delivers payroll administrative services to a high standard managing and completing tasks, using own initiative.
  • Resolves queries using judgement based on analysis of information and knowledge and experience of processes and services.
  • To escalate to the relevant Senior Employee Services Administrator or if needed initiate escalation procedures.
  • Liaison with third parties if required.
  • Proactively investigate ways to reduce common issues.
  • Responsible for update and maintenance of accurate internal work instructions and processes.

  • Ability to prioritise & deliver accurate results to tight deadlines
  • An ability to work under pressure
  • To exceed the expectations of internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in team environment whilst working on own allocated work
  • Provide accurate information to all stakeholders

Experience and Qualifications:


  • Good general education e.g. GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Communicate effectively in English
  • Experience working in a customer service or administration role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint

Salary:
£20,000.00-£26,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus scheme
