Based in York, the Operations Manager will lead the Operations Team, providing support to the installation team across Yorkshire. The role will multitask and prioritize workloads for the team, being available and providing leadership support when required.Client Details

Description
The successful Operations Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Coordinating the activities of the daily operations of the team and the installation team.
- Managing work in progress and job statues through to completion and commissioning.
- Developing the skills and competencies of the team through 121s, appraisals, and training.
- Ensuring people resources are effectively planned and managed, with holiday approvals and absence management plans in place.
- Developing detailed knowledge of construction, building fabric, and renewable technology.
- Managing stock ordering and delivery processes, being able to forecast stock levels in the ordering process.
Profile
The successful Operations Manager will be able to demonstrate:
General Experience - Essential
- 5 GCSE grades A-C or further education
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 packages
- Notable management and leadership experience
- Notable operations management experience
- Detailed knowledge of construction, building fabric, and renewable technology
- Electrical Qualification
- Plumbing Qualification
- Experience of Hubspot, ODOO and Xero
- Work experience in Plumbing, Electrical, or Renewable Technology
- Computer literate in MS Office suite and online interactive specification portals.
- Account management and planning.
- Business development.
- Customer value management.
- Strategic planning.
- Full clean UK driving license.
- Upholds the values of the organization, acting with professionalism and integrity when dealing with people.
- Builds strong teams with a shared goal around the mission and vision of the organization.
- Demonstrates 'emotional intelligence' by having the capacity to control and express one's emotions to handle interpersonal relationships with empathy.
