This opportunity will Support the Management Accounts for the organisation and will form an integral role within the Finance Department.

This is a superb opportunity to work with a successful organisation with a strong presence in the South East who are now looking to take an Assistant Management Accountant on board.


Description

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Reporting to budget holders including variance analysis.
  • Assisting with the preparation for the annual external audit.
  • Administration of manufacturer rebates to ensure all funds are recovered as appropriate.
  • Accruals & Prepayments
  • Stock & materials accounting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Other journals as required
  • Management Reporting
  • Budget variance analysis
  • Ad hoc reporting to budget managers
  • Installation costings & turnover reporting
  • Assist with the preparation for the annual external audit
  • Administration of manufacturer rebates to ensure all funds are recovered as appropriate

Profile

  • AAT Qualified/Studying. CIMA / ACCA
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytic and organised work style.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 preferred but not essential.
