Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Senior IT Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement team.

The role is flexible with a mix of remote working and occasional travel to our Head office in the UK and potentially other Volta sites across Europe.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious scale-up where you will have the opportunity to contribute and make a difference from day one.

What you will do:

As a Senior IT Sourcing Specialist, you will take the lead on strategic Sourcing within the Volta Trucks Indirect Procurement function, focusing on IT and working closely with other key stakeholders across the business, including Legal and Finance.

Managing multiple IT category Sourcing projects end to end, leading processes, and onboarding suppliers simultaneously
Supporting the Senior Category Manager and Category Manager with the implementation of sourcing strategies, ensuring they are delivered in line with the agreed targets and objectives
Leading RFI/RFP/RFS/RFQ's for the business and within your category
Planning and delivering positive negotiations with suppliers, incorporating appropriate contractual arrangements
Developing strong relationships with stakeholders and all cross functional teams, supporting junior members of the team

We would like you to have:

A proven track record negotiating contractual terms and conditions and SoWs, and the ability to craft structured agreements with legal and stakeholder input
Extensive experience managing Sourcing strategies and leading the Sourcing tender process through to Contract award
Confident negotiation and influencing skills, managing stakeholders and suppliers with clarity of desired outcomes, understanding requirements, and managing expectations
Strong knowledge in selecting and maximising the right tools to deliver on certain projects and drive maximum value, analysing and reporting on cost savings
