Are you someone who is a logical thinker, a great problem solver and gets excited by challenging the way things are done? If this sounds like you then we want to hear from you An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy department to lead on roster management.


The role will be 15 hours a week across 3 working days, but can accommodate your preferred working days and hours.

We are also supportive of hybrid working (with opportunities to work from home or in the office) around service requirements.


You will support the Senior leadership team and Trust Rostering department in a key project to implement e-rostering across the Pharmacy Department.

Your main day to day duties will also include working with Team leads to produce rotas that enable smooth and professional running of the Pharmacy Department.

The role will also support administrative functions and the smooth and efficient running of the pharmacy admin office, where you'll be based in the Pharmacy Business & Administrative Team.

The role will be well-suited to someone who enjoys using technology and is enthusiastic about driving service improvements.


To supervise and administer the team-based rotas ensuring these are planned with team leads and published in accordance with local agreements.

To supervise and administer the Electronic Rostering system to all Pharmacy teams in accordance with local departmental agreement.

To work closely with team leads to co-produce roster and rota templates that provide efficient staff time utilisation.

To support the implementation of Pharmacy Job Planning programme as outlined within the programme plan.

To continuously analyse, understand and evaluate risks associated with the digital databases and escalate as necessary.

To monitor e-rostering issues to ensure maximisation of Bank & Electronic Rostering benefits for the Trust.


To work with Pharmacy service leads, Human Resource Business Partners & Rostering Leads and Finance, to ensure rostering and job planning quality standards and deadlines are met.

To provide a high-quality business administrative support and advice to the Pharmacy Directorate.

Ensuring that all administrative activities are executed with maximum efficiency and effectiveness, with particular emphasis on appropriateness, accuracy, and timeliness.
