  • Job location: Derby centre.
  • Shifts: Days
  • Payrate: £12.50 per hour / anything over 37.5 hours £18.75 per hour.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours plus overtime (flexible hours between 8 and 5)
  • Duration: 6 months.
  • Start date: immediate.
  • Client Summary:
  • Electrical parts manufacturer with a reputation for robust technology, data capture, analysis and reporting that assists companies in the mining and warehouse handling sectors to improve the safety, compliance, and performance of their operations.
  • Position Summary:
  • The assembly of the mechanical and electrical box sections for the mining industry. This is a contract to start but there is a possibility for a permanent role further down the line.
  • All training will be provided

Key duties:

  • Assembling box sections for use in the mining industry.
  • Panel wiring / soldering / PCB assembly
  • Reading basic drawings.
  • Willingness to learn.

Person Profile/Experience:

  • Ideally some Assembly experience
  • Use of basic hand and air tools
  • Good attitude is the key requirement.
  • Soldering and/or PCB assembly experience.
