Finance Business Partner, Richmond

We have an outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the business as Finance Business Partner based at our office in Richmond.
The Finance Business Partner will work directly with Research and Development Function leader and their staff to develop standardised and custom reports, execute month end close for the R&D Function team, and participate as the key finance business partner on new product development projects.
You will be responsible for:
- Working closely with the Director of FP&A to deliver the monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and quarterly forecast.
- Providing monthly expense reporting, explain variances and provide proactive expense management.
- Creating a true "businesspartnering" through sound financial analysis, routine guidance, and collaboration, as well as other adhoc/valueadd analysis.
- Collaborating with the Product Management team, developing a robust financial model for Product Accounting.
- Providing monthend support (journal entries, cost centre support, various executive reporting/presentations, etc.) for the R&D Function, including key account reconciliations and routine expense reporting.
- Directly Lead period end reporting & analysis for the R&D Function, along with forecasting & budgeting cycles
Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:
- Fully qualified commercial accountant with industry experience ACA/ACCA/CIMA,
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Adaptive Insights Oracle NetSuite and Tableau/Power BI would be advantageous.
- Confident dealing with senior nonfinance stakeholders and external partners and customers
- Highly analytical and creative thinker with the ability to come up with solutions to operational issues.
- Goal oriented: able to manage multiple priorities, eliminate obstacles and drive success; able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
