Main Purpose of Job

  • The Medical Delivery Technician (MDT) is a key role in the Movianto Business. The MDTs are front line workers, supporting MoviantoUK in delivering a vital service to the NHS and our key Government Contracts. The MDT is an ambassador of the Company and represents the highest standards of patient care and delivery of medical supplies through impeccable customer service._
Key Responsibilities / Outputs

  • Operation of Company vehicles with appropriate licences
  • Delivery of temperature controlled products to customer and patient premises.
  • Use of EPOD (scanner) to scan and track all consignments from depot to delivery
  • Offloading and reloading (where required) at customer and patient premises.
  • Flexibility to meet business needs and to adapt to changing priorities, including changes to start and finish times.
  • Requirement to abide by statutory and legal regulations in relation to drivers hours and tachograph rules (where applicable).
  • Service customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Adherence to all Company SOPs and individual health and safety obligations
  • Carry out all reasonable requests by Depot Management.
  • Requirement for Christmas working (premium pay)

Essential:


  • Previous multidrop delivery operations practical experience.
  • Articulate, Numerate and able to communicate effectively.
  • Flexible in approach to work hours.
  • Good state of health and the physical ability to complete operational tasks.
  • Smart and personally well presented.
  • Must have held a UK licence for a minimum of 2 years.

Desirable:

Previous experience working with multi-temperature vehicles
