We are currently recruiting for:
-
Technical Co-ordinator_

Reporting to the Technical Manager.

The role holder will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Managing of customer complaints
  • log, investigate, complete root cause analysis, implement corrective actions and customer response.
  • Creating and amend finished product labels.
  • Complete new product set ups.
  • Investigate out of spec microbiological issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Complete customer specifications.
  • Create own format specifications.
  • Complete customer supplier approval documentation.
  • Monitor and update supplier approval documentation.
  • Investigate internal nonconforming product.
  • Manage supplier nonconformances.
  • Complete trend analysis for complaints and nonconforming products.
  • Reviewing procedures and documentation within the Quality Manual.
  • Handling customer enquiries.
  • Complete monthly horizon scanning
  • Support Technical Manager on audits and customer visits.
  • Provide cover for members of the Technical Team.
  • Member of Internal Audit and HACCP team.
  • Complete any other duties as requested by the Technical Manager.

We are looking for someone:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar technical role.
  • Previous experience with BRCGS audits.
  • Comfortable and confident with verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Comfortable working in a team.
  • Prepared to support the business and colleagues when required.
  • Selfmanaged and comfortable with making decisions to achieve agreed goals.
  • Always looking at experiences to take learnings from and to grow.
  • Must demonstrate strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ensure food safety requirements are fulfilled.

Qualification:


  • Permanent role
  • Monday to Friday 37.5hour week
  • On site secure parking
  • Breaks room with tea/ coffee and microwave facilities provided

Job Types:

Salary:
£26,000.00 per year
