Description

An independent manufacturing company which has been established for over 110 years ago with a 250m turnover, based in Kent are adding two multi skilled engineers to their dynamic team.


Specialising in manufacturing a wide range of sustainable paving and natural stone products, for both the commercial and domestic markets.

Duties

  • Overall focus on breakdown response to reduce machine downtime as much as possible
  • Increase efficiency through thorough execution of planned maintenance schedules
  • All aspects of facility work carried out onsite by maintenance team where possible
Help maintain quality of engineering stores via correct usage and communications

  • Good demonstration of selfmotivated continuous improvement
  • Utilising CMMS for planned and unplanned maintenance
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with customer departments
  • Assist with implementation of engineering projects/costeffective repairs
  • Complete appreciation of overall health and safety at work

Qualifications/Experience

  • NVQ/C&G Level 3/ONC/BTEC
  • Apprenticehip trained/time served
  • Multi Skilled with strong fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems


  • PLC

  • S5/S7 (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of pumps, motors, drives
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and Pneumatics
  • Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
  • Heavy Industry/industrial manufacturing background preferred but not essential

Hours/Shift

  • Thurs 6am 3.30pM/Friday 6am 4pm

  • Thurs 6pm 6am (Friday off)
No weekends worked, great work/life balance. Every other week is a three day weekend.

Salary/ Package
£44,000 per annum, plus overtime (1.5x or double time on a Sunday)
