Description

To support the Head Cook in the provision of a high standard of catering within the Nursing Home, delivering a quality service in line with health, safety and hygiene requirements.

Manage the kitchen and meals in the absence of the Head Cook on days off and annual leave. Manage kitchen stock, equipment and resources within budget.

Will be required to work every other weekend.

Hours of work will be 7am - 5.30pm 40 hours a week.


You will be supporting the head cook to cater for the 51 people who live with us, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, that are nourishing and healthy.

You will need to have an awareness or willingness to learn the IDDSI Framework and definitions for food and drink.


Salary:
£11.25 per hour
