Rehabilitation Assistant
Marple, Stockport

From £12 - £15 an hour

5-10 hours per week, weekday mornings and weekends.

We require motivated, caring and reliable individuals to support a male client with a spinal cord injury. This role involves working on a one-to-one basis with the client and supporting him with daily exercises and stretching.

Experience/training preferred but applicants who are new to the rehab sector and have the right values and attitudes are welcome, as full training will be provided.

This role may suit an AHP student with basic understanding of long-term health conditions.

Main attributes include a friendly, positive 'can-do' attitude, respect for the clients home, privacy and dignity.


Role includes:

  • Assistance with daily exercise and stretching
  • Support accessing therapy away from home
  • Accessing the community, for example, attending social activities
  • Occasional assistance with light household duties and/or personal care.

Essential Information:


  • Driving Licence & own transport preferable
  • Reliably commute to Stockport
  • Must be available to work weekends.
  • References required.
  • Typical shift is 9am10am (Sat & Sun every week and flexible weekdays)

Job Types:
Part-time, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 5-10 per week


Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
