CONTENT

We're a creative family that works closely together to make sure our customers know every last detail about our products before purchasing.

We have three primary teams:
Styling, Photography, and Content. This is the team who makes sure customers have an engaging, seamless and luxurious experience.

LONDON

Our London office is located in Old Street, London's tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product.

Our open-plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library.

We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events

THE ROLE

We are looking for a proficient Content Writer with a background in fashion, digital publishing, and e-commerce to join our progressive and innovative Localisation Services team.

Reporting directly to the Localisation Lead - Chinese, the Content Writer is responsible for creating 'revolutionary' content and product descriptions and working with different teams to support the localising copy across all FARFETCH channels.

WHAT YOU DO

Localise content for the Simplified
Chinese website.
Localise product descriptions from English into Chinese.
Collaborate with freelancers and other localisation teams to deliver and maintain highquality product information.
Monitor and update glossaries and translation memories.
Track and qualityassure product descriptions and other localised content.
Assist in delivering content audits and participate in other key projects as required.

WHO YOU ARE

You are highly proficient in simplified Chinese and have a good level of fluency in English.
You have knowledge and love for fashion on all levels, from highend designers to cuttingedge street style.
You have experience working in localisation for ecommerce, preferably luxury fashion retail.
You have an engaging, accurate, and adaptable writing style, excellent attention to detail and impeccable grammar.
You have a strong understanding of garment and accessory construction.
You are comfortable with digital work on an inhouse CMS.
