We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in
Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a
Social Care Assessor, on a
2-month rolling contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion.


They will require excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to work with a diverse range of agencies and teams across the Borough.

This role may suit a Newly Qualified Adult Social Worker who is looking to build up their Local Authority experience.

Good IT skills are essential.

Successful applicants will be committed to working as part of a team, to providing quality services that promote principles of empowerment to support adults, their carers and advocates to achieve their outcomes.

They will be required to use assessment, judgement and decision-making skills with a focus on supporting the adult to manage risk and identify need for support and assistance.

Knowledge of mental capacity, Care Act, safeguarding procedures, current legislation and government initiatives will be beneficial to the role; also, a willingness to look forward and explore new and creative ways of working.

Salary:
£18.00 per hour
