  • Manage successful running of a 35 seat contact centre 1 manager + 2 TL reports

About Our Client:


An exciting interim opportunity has arisen for an experienced customer service leader to join a reputable organisation in the West Midlands as the Interim Head of Customer Service.


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer service strategy, aligning with the organisation's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the performance of the contact centre, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of inquiries.
  • Implement metrics and key performance indicators to monitor and evaluate contact centre performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Lead and inspire a small leadership team of customer service professionals (1 Customer Service Manager and 2 Team Leaders), providing guidance and support to maximise their potential.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes, improve service delivery, and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant:


  • Proven experience in a leadership role within customer service, ideally within the housing sector.
  • Strong understanding of contact centre operations, with the ability to drive performance and efficiency.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problemsolving skills, enabling effective decisionmaking and goal achievement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing customer service strategies and driving positive outcomes.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fastpaced, changing environment.

  • Salary £55,000 £60,000 Depending on Experience (paid weekly on a day rate ideally, FTC can be considered if preferred)
